Bio

Annabella (Bella) Cox was last seen singing the role of Mabel in Gilbert and Sullivan’s Pirates of Penzance with Eklund Opera in Boulder, CO. This Summer, Bella is singing Judith Stein in a workshop with Mark Adamo on his new opera: Sarah in the Theatre in the CU New Opera Workshop. After, Bella will be joining the Middlebury German for Singers program to sing the role of Serpetta in W.A. Mozart’s Die Gärtnerin aus Liebe. Bella has been seen with Virginia Repertory Theater, Cadence Theater and Eklund Opera.

Bella is currently pursuing her Masters of Music in Vocal Performance and Pedagogy from the University of Colorado - Boulder.

Lessons and Teaching

Annabella Cox is known across the U.S as an passionate, flexible, and devoted teacher. She holds a B.M. in Vocal Choral Education and a Certificate in Disability Studies from Virginia Commonwealth University, a valid VA teaching license, and is currently working towards a Master’s in Vocal Performance and Pedagogy from the University of Colorado - Boulder. On top of that, Bella has more than five years experience teaching voice and music to people of all ages, ranging from toddlers to seniors! She is passionate about creating individualized spaces where students are emboldened to try new things find what makes music so special to them.
